Temporary insurance in Ontario

Post by hharb »

I'm trying to get a temporary insurance for my ZE so i can drive it home and get it registered... can't find a temporary insurance provider in Ontario. does anyone know a temporary insurance provider? cuz it would be silly insuring a car and parking it for over 4 months, and i can't afford paying insurance on 2 cars, bare in mind i'm only 20 with a G2 so at the lowest rate it would cost me around a $1000 to insure it for the extra 4 months. please help :(

If it only to get it home then you might be better off to have it towed or flatbedded home.

You can get it transferred to your name without the e-test or safety, they just put "unfit" on the ownership. You just can't plate it till you jump through all the hoops.
