i think thats "his" problem because his are generic, ive never found an EPROM i couldnt modify and replace. and ive come accross some weird ones before.

i wouldnt doubt that for one minute except for the fact in the US they always get 10%+ more power in every circumstance. in fact my fully bolted ZE makes less then 95% of the stock ZE's in the US. ive seen potential in my ZE, once every 6 onths for about a day it would haul a--, i could never replic...

its never been anything to do with wiring unless a KL31 ECU'ed car is wired differently then a ford probe/mazda MX6. i came to the conclusion that it was probably the knock sensor pulling timing + adding fuel to compensate, one way you could try to test it is to bypass the knock sensor and run 98 ga...

yesh the vibration will be the mounts, ive got RR inserts and there is some vibration at idle. as for the intake are you just making an elbow or a whole box? if just the elbow you can get the ebay ones and cut them down to suit (like on my car) if thats an option. the rev's staying high is a vac lea...

yeah the sensor inbetween the V of the engine is the knock sensor, it should only be 1 wire (coax) and then splits into 2 wires at the connector, if one wire is broken you would get a code 5. you should definitely replace/fix it if the main shielding is broken while the engine is out, as you can ima...
