Pirelli P7000S vs. Nitto NT-501

I switched from Pirelli P7000S in 215/40x17, to Nitto NT-501 in 225/40x17.
The benefit:
1) "Correct" tire-to-wheel-to-body size relationship (AKA: aesthetic improvement)
2) Greater tire section -- more in keeping with the car's weight
3) Quicker steering response
4) Lighter steering
5) More rim protection
The cost:
1) Wet weather performance
2) Straight-line tracking
3) More noise
4) Outdated tread design
