Hi, I thought I would finally after 3-4 years of having a KLZE in my Eunos, make a worklog thread. I probably won't update a whole lot but I'll start from the beginning and try to post any future mods!

Engine
-KL31 Straight neck rebuilt (now with curve neck IM)
-KL31 Cams
-Ebay headers
-CAI
-KL31 chipped ECU

Drivetrain/Suspension
-MX6 gearbox
-Xtreme Clutch
-MX-3 Flywheel
-Koni reds shocks
-DBA brakes + rotors
-Toyo Proxes 4 tyres

First, the KLZE when it first went in. The after I rebuilt it with a different intake.

After rebuilding I dyno'd the car and made 109KW at the wheels (140 something HP) which is quite low for the ZE.

Going up a big hill towards my old folks house earlier this summer, the engine died. Thought it was the disty but turned out the engine ate it's belt!

So I got it towed and decided to do a HEI + Coil, Manual belt tensioner (king6), Curved neck intake, CAI and put a new battery in.

Pulled some codes with my friend and found the knock sensor was dead. After having already put it all back together I said screw it and bypassed it with a resistor which has removed the code. This should free up some power I would think!!

It's alive once again and sounds good. More pics to come. Here's my dyno run too.

Got hold of some wheels second hand, some before and after cleanup shots! Gonna use these whilst restoring the stock wheels.

New wheels on with some Toyo Proxes 4 to add some grip!

Btw thinking of removing rear spoiler and all those little side skirt things. Opinions?

Needs some low man! Side skirts look good, I'm personally not a fan of that spoiler but I thin it's between that and the hatch garnish as far as OEM spoilers go in your neck of the woods.

Worst comes to worst you can sell the side skirts.

Love the rims and people kill for the skirts and wrap around spoiler

IMO the wrap around isn't my cup of tea, but it is better than a GS. Personally I like the RS and the mazdaspeed spoiler

Thanks! I might try to remove the spoiler and see how it looks. If it doesn't work I'll paint it and put back on. Still undecided about the side skirts, hate how they fade and end up looking crap!

I'm in the process of creating all the MX3 decals. Could I ask for some good clean images of the 30X and V6 decals from the tailgate, it's so we can get them vectored and then reproduced.

if your thinking or removing the spoiler you need something to replace it. i think it would look pretty good if you just gloss black the spoiler and mud guards front lip.
