Thefez's 92 MX3 GS (Buying a RX-8!)

Post by Thefez »

Well i've been on here a bit so I think its time I make one of these. Hopfuly you guys can help me along the way :)

Well here a little back story on how I got to be the proud owner of one of these great cars. I use to own a zx2 that I was building for fun and I slowly found out it was rotting away on me so I decided to sell and get a new rust free car hence the MX3:)

Also when I found the car it was in pretty good shape and had 80k Motor swap with 135K on the body.

Some pics when I first brought it home.

So then I had a TON of moeny left over from parting out my ZX2 and selling it back to stock. So I bought some stuff some members on here had for sale.

Later On I bought brand new ZX2 S/R Struts (Which are now discontinued btw) and some GC's from a guy on TEAMZX2 total only cost me $400

and well I save you the txt I know everyone likes pics :)
This is a custom shift boot my friend made for me along with a e-break boot:)

Some other stuff I recently picked up :) only $160

Ha, I like your 'old school' shift knob. Good find on that car, you'll be cruising in style in no time with the mods your doing. As far as the bumper goes use what ever works. I cut a 1" X 1/4 piece of plastic bread board and glued it between my bumper and support to get mine to sit even. Sounds like you have a good JY close by, keep an eye out for stuff to sell to us. :D
