[WTB] EGR pipe from headers

Post by mikeinaus »

so has anyone actually saved the egr pipe that came with their headers? i just ordered an egr for my curved neck and itd be nice to not have to rig something up to get it fitted. i know many of you have headers, most of you more then likely threw them out, and a slim few may have kept them for shits and giggles?

Ha, I've scrapped a few K8s EGR and all. Guess I should of kept more than the one spare I have. Do you need the connector pipe as well?

The millennia egr is unique. It bolts onto the manifold instead of the head and has different flange . Pipe would be nice but I can make due without it.. .

It's a PITA to remove the IM because of it too, unfortunately. :(

Good luck with the WTB, free bump for you Mike.

i could see that. i bet a mx3 style egr bolted to the IM would be more convenient for removal. getting a wrench between the firewall and the intake to take out that exhaust hose must be next to impossible without a good crowfoot socket set

God, I used a box wrench... skinned 2 knuckles on removal, 4 on re-install. I was tempted to take the extra time to remove it entirely and cap the hole.

Well, I have a Milli engine in the '93

If you had offered that a few months ago, I'd have happily accepted. Now the thing's back together though, and I'm not planning on touching it until rebuild time... Sorry Mike :(

If I see anything on the other boards I'm a member of, I'll definitely send them your way! Come to think of it, there was a guy on ProbeTalk who was parting out a few cars, he may have had a milli engine in one... I'm not positive though.
