Remove the bottom cover under the drives side dash. Then somehow cram yourself an a flash light under the dash! The wire for the antenna should be toward the top of the dash and it held on by 2 silver clips! You will have to pry them apart to get the wire free from it! Then just keep following it out till it comes to the bottom of the spilled at the floor, there should be a half plastic cover that you will need to remove to make it easier to pull the wire out! Tip for this is to start at where it plugs into the stereo and work your way back! Also the wire is pretty much at the very top of the underside of the dash.
Good luck and hope this helps!

Mine was all one piece!! Its a pain in the a$$ to remove so if you dont have to then i would not suggest removing it. I had to because the preivous owner had cut the wire and connector right where it attaches to the back of the stereo.

This is helpful, I'm planning to run a beefy antenna inside the hatch area to keep it clean, and improve reception. There are windshield mounted styles, but they're still kind of obvious to passengers.
