hey so i finally got the clutch pedal in the car and all bolted in. i was looking at the atx and mtx tranny side by side and noticed that the atx that came out used a digital speed sensor while the mtx uses a cable speed sensor. both trannys are from 94s, mtx is from a protege that had NO TACHOMETER, only a speedometer which is odd because its a 5 speed.
both speed sensors are the same size and very similar in appearence and both fit in either or trannys. so the question is would i be able to use the speed sensor from the atx in the mtx? i'd just plug it into the atx engine harness does that make sense? thanks

If it looks like the same one, it probably is. Just plug it in and see what happens.
The difference between the styles is big enough that you'd know (one is like an inch longer)
