[WTB] Rad cap attachment

Weird. My installed KLZE has a plastic housing beneath the rad cap, it has a slight crack in it. I bought an entire disassembled KLZE, and thought I could just exchange it... nope. That one has an all aluminum, one piece neck.
Anyone got the little plastic piece, it's held down by two 8mm bolts.

I have one, in aluminum.

It was on my 92 K8. Or was it a 96 K8. I forget.

Address? I'll do shipping rounded up to the nearest 5. ($10 or 15 I bet)

Thanks, I have the aluminum one. It would be a pain in the butt to install the entire all-aluminum neck. The one that's in the car has a plastic moulded housing on top of the neck, held down by two 8mm bolts. The cap screws onto this.

Those plastic ones suck. Go to the picnpull and check other Mazda's I'm sure there's one there to fit your car. If I could find mine you could have it cheap but I don't have time to look till Sat. Where in Ontario do you live?

Ha, I was just there the other day doing an HVAC job. I've seen a couple of MX-3s there. One nice looking red one. I'll check this weekend. In the mean time clean yours and scrape the crack with a knive to creat a little V in the crack, sand the area and apply some 5min epoxy. Should hold for the short term. Cheers

Thanks, I will try that.
Mine probably wasn't one of the nice ones you saw, although it is red. It looks like it was painted with a mop.
