Replacement Auto transmission for 1.8L V6 K8

I need a replacement Auto Transmission for my 1992 MX-3 / Eunos 30X with a 1.8L V6 K8, does anyone have one in Aus? I imagine getting a decent 2nd hand one must be difficult, I have been told the Auto out of a V6 BA Astina Mazda fits, can anyone confirm this & what other model Autos can be used.

Also if I transplanted motor & transmission complete from with a larger V6 from another car what model Mazda / Eunos or Ford can you use?

Swap to a manual.....otherwise you could do a complete swap with a ford probe or mazda 626 I believe
