Memphis9787's 94 Eunos Presso J-Spec BPT Swap

Post by memphis9787 »

G'day everyone

Ive been meaning to start this for a while so here it is.

I bought this car in Papua New Guinea after it was imported from Japan, when I finished up there I send it back to Australia. Its stock engine wise, somewhere in the future I'll be doing a bpt or KL-ZE swap (not sure which one yet).

Next was the Back bumper, tail lights and replacing sticker for a Eunos badge (off a eunos 500)....

.

I replaced the tail lights with a aftermarket set from ebay

After:

As you can see in those pics there is paint damage to the bumper, My mum decided to take it for a drive and reversed into a pole, no supprise there as she's a habbitual car damager lol

So I sanded back the bumper primed and re-sprayed finishing with a clear coat,
and picked up a Eunos badge to replace the crappy sticker that comes stock.

After:

I sanded back the windscreen wipers as they were rusty and the paint was coming off
and primed re-sprayed (with stock paint ) and clear coat

Here are some shots I took yesterday:

Yeah man for sure, but we just call it pidgin, adding the english to the end is a more formal way/old school name, :D

I'll be running it relativly stock.
The Plan is:
HD clutch kit either Exedy or ACT
CP Forged Pistons & Spool H-Beam Forged Rods (Still deciding, not entirely sure its neccecary hmmm....)
Aftermarket Flywheel
Upgraded Brakes
Intercooler- Not sure what size but waiting on a call from a mate,
3" Exaust
And all the other bits and bobs along the way,
Most of this is new to me so I will be learning a lot along the way :)

Nice work getting the BPT started, do let us know how you go getting it all up & running, hey :)
Also, if you do end up getting that aftermarket kit, I might be interested in the J-spec front lip ;)
Where in Aus are you located?

I prob wont be getting the body kit for a while I've gotta buy all the motor gear, and get it in and running, but I'll give you a yay when that time comes,

Hopefully picking up a rear disc brake assembly from the wreckers today to start changing the rear drums over :D
