Replacing my Air Intake Hose with Cold Air Intake??

So the air intake hose is cracked making the idle rough on my car. I have a 92 SOHC and haven't found a direct OEM replacement for the hose. But if I were to use this one, would it be plug n play??

I know the compatibility list doesn't show the MX-3, but the other cars and engines are similar, would anyone know for sure?? Otherwise, I'd probably cough up the extra money and get something like this:

I have a good stock hose if you need, $5 plus whatever shipping is,for my time to pack it and get it to the PO.
