You can't just go at it with a list, something will snag and you'll wind up behind schedule (if you have one).

Do an MTX swap at the same time, your ATX will fail. Tis inevitable.

But if you really just want to know....

BP engine.
BP ECM
U code VAF
BP ATX TB.

the dash temp sensor from the B6 (single wire, front of head, RHS)
5' of wire/soldering iron/tape/shrink to run the VICS wire.

Black GS - Summer DD/Race car - Fancy KLZE
Red GS - K8-ATX -> MTX-KLDE - Frakencar. Scrapped
White GS - Rusty. Parts. Scrapped
1997 BMW M3 - my summer baby
2002 BMW 325Xi - sold
2003 Forester Xti - EJ20K swapped.

Is your keyboard missing all of the punctuation keys? I don't even understand what you just said. You already swapped it to ATX and you don't know if your ECM works or not?

So you want us to spoon feed you the information, you just sit there, all lazy while making us do the work of spending our time and writing out all the information you want. C'mon, give a DECENT attempt at doing your own work and reseach, and we'll fill in the blanks. Like even giving a simple glance, you'll find some information, weird, eh?

Oh ya, BP swap on an automatic, even using the Auto BP trans (Custommx3 looked into it for his RS), doesn't seem doable. So you're SOL.

I refuse to help until I see more periods. Enough exclamation marks though.

We both speak English but you still seem to have communication issues.

The swap goes:

engine and transmission and wiring harness and ECM out

engine and transmission and wiring harness and ECM in.

Thats the simplest possible path.

No, you can do that yourself apparently.

My problem is that you're not even giving a decent attempt at researching yourself. The big problem by not researching and you knowing yourself what to do, is that when things don't go the way you expect them to, and they never do, you'll be stuck and confused.

Yay! Commas!

You're correct in your last post, and you can use a 5 speed BP, but you need an ATX throttle body to match your harness and EC

Do some research, get the engine, get the ecu, get the manual tranny, pref F series or do the toyata tranny, get the manual flywheel, get stuck, do some more research, get stuck some more, do more research, finally get it, and enjoy.

LOL! well put this is exactly what I just went through.

Just to clarify for Fuzzy the harness from ATX and MTX dont match up. ATX and ATX ECU go together no ?. and if you use the harness from the donor car you wont need to add in the extra VICS wire. The fuel rail harness from BP to B6 is different also due to the VICS controller. Do lots and lots of research. Take your time with it and dont rush urself.
