Car wont start

ok i left work today and when i got to the top of drive way and my foot slipt off the clutch and i stalled it :(. anyway after that i had to jump start the car cause when i tryed to turn the key over nothin only i small click "my guess is the relay " correct me if im wrong on that one. Anyway ive jumped the clutch switch the starter "will start when jumped " any one have an idea?

It's possible you broke the physical switch that the clutch touches. I've not taken a close look at the system, but it's as good an exlpanation as any. Easy to test too, I'd start there.

wouldnt the car not start at all if it was the clutch sensor? clicking is usually the starter not getting enough juice to start the car. id look at your battery especially if its starting with a boost

If it just clicks its usually battery connection problems. Take off the terminals, clean them, put them back on. Start there.

sounds like a bad clutch switch. had an old escort like that. just wired in a button on the dash :P

If it was the clutch switch you wouldn't get the click would you? Check the thick wire bolted to your starter as well. That's the main power wire for the starter and it could be badly corroded insulating the power from the starter. If so DISCONNECT BATTERY + , clean with hot water and baking soda and small wire brush then spray with lubricant like LPS, wheel grease, whatever to stop corrosion from coming back.
