Search, FAQ's.

Its literally all there, there's even a post describing the differences between the harnesses.

pretty sure BP harnesses work with engines whether its ford or mazda. if ur runnin the harnesses from the B6's tho u'll have to do some wiring. its not that big a deal. pretty easy to do.

Your SOHC harness should be perfect. What is wrong with it?

A BP is a BP is a BP, for the most part (aside from some very irritating hardware differences if you got a JDM motor, ask John)

The harnesses should be very usable, either escort or Protege or Kia or whatever. The only difference off the top of my head, might be the fuel rail connector, but that's not an insurmountable issue, just cut off and solder on the correct one.

The other thing to think about is the TB. You need a TB to match your harness (ATX or MTX).

The Wire harness definately works cause thats the exact some harness I used. and I have a Mercury tracer BP, Protege fuel rail and harness, and an Escort Wire harness. Just remember ATX and MTX harness arent interchangable
