Interior trim questions

Post by RedBPmx3 »

Hey people,

A few curious questions.

i know the mx3 SE had full leathers with heating, were the doorpanels/rear interior side panels any different from other mx3's?

Also, do all mx3's come with the same cheapo looking sunvisors as the 95 RS does (no lights, cheapo vinyl, very flimsy)

also, did any mx3's come with a black headliner and a pillars?

I noticed mine is 2 tone.. black bottom, and tan top.

Also, how does one post in the F/S forum? I've got a buncha crap laying around i want to get rid of, but it wont let me post even though im decently over 30+ posts.

Thanks!

There are several interior styles. check the home page.

excellent. gonna have to try and find an mx3 at the scrappers that hopefully has the fabric sun visors. did any of the years or trim models have lights on the sun visors?

and last but not least, You have PM. lol

if you know someone with a sewing machine you could make some sun visor slip covers fairly easily. i cut some black vinyl to shape in the summer but my gfs sewing machine is broken and i haven't cared that much to try and finish them. if i do ever get around to finishing them they should match my vinyl headliner quite nicely.

p.s. if you do decide to replace your headliner i highly suggest you go with some type or cloth or felt. vinyl doesn't breathe and it sagged in the summer heat.

Mine has them, and it's a '92 GS. I never noticed whether or not others had them, I'm glad this caught my eye.

For the record, Ryan isn't a moderator. Although, he's active and knowledgeable, and patient to boot. He'd have my vote, if it came to it.
