Need to replace the a/c compressor. Looks to be a real tight fit... if not impossible.
Any useful advice or words of wisdom to help in the replacement?

Re: v-6 a/c compressor replacement
jack the car up, put it on jackstands, remove the passenger side wheel, remove the plastic covers put a block of wood on the jack and support the engine with it, remove the passenger motor mount, lower the engine down then you can access the compressor pretty easily, just note that if the system is not gas free have a pro do it for you, a/c gas is not something to be taken lightly, the older stuff can kill you hands down if you inhale it or do some serious damage if it comes in contact with the skin. Usually the compressor is fine though, the clutch is what usually gives out. So unless you know for sure that its the compressor check the clutch out. The rest is just removal of the drive belts. Check the online manuals for the complete removal procedure.
