Has anyone restored their MX-3.....like stripped down...and build up......
..........not just put in another motor...or a body job..............

i had my old white one right down to a bare body gas line's and the tank, everything was taken off, cleaned painted and put back. auto to manual swap, klze swap, interior cleaned and put back. this was done a couple time's. my new white one is gutted and needing to be sanded so i can repaint it, then i have to gut my old white one to transplant everything over....before kelowna.

It has been my greatest wish to disassemble the Purple Beast and rebuild her from the ground up with love and attention to every detail. It will happen...as soon as I have a garage of my own.

Pics+worklog to come soon. I am indeed starting a year+ long project. First parts came off last night, only to get swapped into my other mx3 because it's having issues, which I am trying to deal with.
But yes. A full rebuild, including stitch welding, frame bracing, full suspension powder coating and an engine rebuild is officially underway.

Actually aaron is doing the same with an se, its a shame he wont start a worklog. But atleast I can get some cheap cast off parts as he upgrades!
