So after reading countless car magazines and seeing so many beautiful mx3s on here all I can think of is how all those stories end with the same even if you cant earn alot you can still have a nice ride with awesome parts so my curiousity has gotten to me. Im just curious what we all do in the workplace to share a common interest in such a nice car and who knows, maybe get a chance at a good job lead lol.
So for the time being Im working in a backroom loading feed till I can find something better with my BS Design degree. Atleast I can draw pics in dirt on the floor and by a sticker for my car every now and then lol.
So if your comfortable with it toss up a post

I have very little money in my car. I wait for someone to sell the parts I want (used), or make my parts. I am currently a lab Rat. Right now, I'm sitting in a research facility, testing a drug that kills intestinal bacteria.
Hmmm...Up until last December, I worked at Advance Auto Parts. Now I fix computers at home, and, with any luck, before the end of this year I plan to start selling homemade soap.
Currently in college studying Multimedia Design & Production, work retail part-time. Not a lot of money in my MX-3 either, I always try to find deals and I do as much of the work as I can myself.
i'm a painter, house's/businesses/parking lot lines, handyman, mechanic etc, if me or my friend can make money off it we will pretty much do it. get paid pretty descent right now, looking into starting a art studio business doing comic books, children books etc. as for the car i have dumped way too much into it over the last 6 years, i have about $12,000 in parts sitting...waiting to get put onto the car.
Right now I am a contracted gardener at the supreme law courts in BC. Get to talk and deal with alot of high powered judges, sheriff's and lawyers. Fun stuff. Currently have one employee working for me
I"m a mechanical Engineering Technologist. I did 3 years in an Engineering degree but found it wasn't right for me. I much prefer the technologist side of the Engineering world. P.Eng.'s are all about the white collar. I'm definitely a blueish ollar kind of guy.

Customer Service Rep at T-Mobile. Decent dumb job that doesn't require a degree. I get to hear you all complain, "Waa, my phone doesn't work! I didn't know international calling charged. I shouldn't pay this! What? I went over my minutes? There's something wrong with that, I didn't go over! No, I didn't keep check of my minutes, I'm completely helpless, but I'm not paying for what I obviously used! It's somehow your fault!
I'm a Business Analyst in Customer Service... basically I ensure the ordering system we use stays running and troubleshoot problems and work on special projects. I work for this small company called Nike and no, I cannot get you a deal on shoes.
