Faux CF interior handles

Post by Mooneggs »

So this was my first time to see these... anyone using these in their mx? If not I guess I'll have to get a set just to add to the rarity of my projects

I'm bummed that mazda put this fake CF stuff all over their mazdaspeed products, etc... I just don't get it :x

i don't think they make much sense, logically. if they were real CF, they'd NEVER hold up over time

Last trip to the JY, I saw faux cf buckets, cf ash tray, cf arm rest, and cf window switch bezel. If they weren't peeling around the edges, I would have thought about it.

I've wanted to rip the cloth off the doors and CF them. I thought that would look cool. I have a spare set of door liners so I may give it a go in the future. To do any of it properly you really need to vacuum bag the part in question so if you don't have a good vacuum pump your out of luck.

Dan, you could make a mould of where you want it, and use it to press it into place.
