I did a bit of research, and it appears that its alright to relocate our overflow tanks to a lower position. The main reason I want to do this is because its in the way of my CAI, or at least where I want to run it. I just wanna ask some people I trust first.
Anyone with experience or knowledge want to give some input?

Re: Coolant Overflow Tank Relocation
I use a bracket and one bolt and nut on the side tab on the coolant tank. Fits tight in there with the starter. I believe I have it hooked on the bottom of the tank

Re: Coolant Overflow Tank Relocation
yeah it is fine to lower it. My first ZE overflow was an aftermarket tank in about the same place as Solo's.

Re: Coolant Overflow Tank Relocation
The system is pressurized so there's no issue with the height of the overflow tank. When the engine is cooling it's going to suck up the overflow whether it's up high or down low. Mine is quite low on that frame rail.

Hey Solo wasn't there a write-up on here somewhere that you followed?
