Classics Against Cancer Car Show 2010 (1980+ Section)

Post by Red_Fire98 »

Hey everyone Lowered Intentions is back again with this years charity car show which is taking place on fathers day June 20, 2010, at Cedarvale Park in Georgetown, ON. This is our third year putting on this show with the individuals from Classics Against Cancer. The original show started 23 years ago and contains an average of 250 classic cars per year. As some of you already know Lowered Intentions was asked a couple years ago to help add a 1980+ sport compact / truck section into the mix for the younger generations attending the show. We are looking for a good selection of modified sport compacts, imports, trucks, etc from 1980 - 2010 to show the classic guys what we are made of. We have room for around 50 - 75 cars this year and would love to fill the space provided to us. You can either pre register or we welcome roll ins the day of the show how ever you must arrive by noon if you wish to be judged. We will have 15 trophies this year which are listed on our website. There is one thing that we do have to make clear to everyone which is that this is a family oriented show since it is on fathers day so we are trying to steer away from playing excessively loud music with extreme swearing or gratuity in it please and thank you.

To register please visit our website http://www.loweredintentions.ca" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and enter the forums or go to the 2010 show info page.
If you have any other questions feel free to post here or email me.

Thanks

Jon - jon@loweredintentions.ca" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The trophies will be as follows.

Best In Show
Peoples Choice
Best Import Other
Best Domestic Other
Best Honda
Best Truck
Best Female Ride
Best Paint/Body Mods
Best I.C.E.
Best Engine

Another 5 will consist of a selection of the following that will be decided closer to the show depending on pre registrations.

Best VW
Best Mazda
Best Nissan
Best Toyota
Best J-Body
Best Ford
Best GM
*Best Mopar
*Best Mitsubishi
Best Custom Motorcycle
Best Modern Muscle

We are looking at a total of 15 trophies the day of the show. Good Luck everyone!!

Hey all,

The original poster of this thread has been a friend of mine for about 10 years. Lowered Intentions is the first car club I was ever in.

It's a great show to go to, even as a spectator, and gets lots of comments.

Even if you don't make it to enter your car, at least go by and check it out.

Not a funny day at all. Fathers united together ages ago to make this the day especially to have the meet.

And yes, there are lots of father/kid combos who go together to see the show.

It's fathers day, what more would a lot like to do other than go to a car show and see cars or show off one of their own?
