trying to work out a deal with ledmod.com for them to work on my gauge cluster.. trying to get it to look similar to the 350z gauges above.

Very slick!

I like! Personally, I'd swap the tach and speedo... same positions they are in OEM format, and they still look incredible!

I am going to have them in the same format as stock. Those are not my gauges, but the way they light up is how I am going to have mine.

yeah i agree, those look really neato. i like the individual lighting of the needle and numbers rather than just the indiglo around the gauges. if you can get more than one done...i'd be interested in it.

I will keep you all posted. I'm e-mailing him back to see if it is at all possible for him to make the needles "glow"

I also have a spare gauge cluster I can send to him if he wants it mess with. But here is what Has been said so far:

(The first message I sent to him was to ask him what he could do, and I sent him pictures of my gauges (he wanted front/back pics) and then I got this back after the initial email)

HI.

I can do custom gauge face and LED conversion for your model.

But to do color changing needle, it will be little tricky..

Thanks..

P.S. Please reply with previous e-mail so it will be easier for me to keep track of your e-mail or transaction.

So then I wrote:

I figured the needle would be tricky since mine is just a plain needle... how much would it cost for the custom face and led conversion?

Also, would it look similar to the way the 350z LED conversion looks that you have on the site (like. how it glows behind the needle housing and the overall way the LED's glow?)

And then he wrote back:

Since your gauge cluster does not uses LED from stock.

LED conversion will be tricky to make the light glow evenly and bright..

Basically you replace the stock bulb with LED bulb, but this will create hot spots..

To reduce the hot spots, I’ll have to tweak it diffusers… which will take some time to do..

For the 350Z, it has it’s separate LED specifically for the needle (making them bright)

Which is different story for your gauge cluster..

Custom gauge face is around $150-$200, depends on the design and size…

Thanks..

And so i just wrote him to ask if it's at all possible to make the needle glow (even if it's a custom fabrication).. but yeah as of now he can do:

1. Custom gauge face (this is NOT like the indiglo gauges.. he replaces the stock gauge face with a custom one capable of letting the light LED's shine better)

2. LED conversion.

I want black LED gauges (with blue and red or something) and a black LED HVAC cover!

Does anyone have a front/back shot of the HVAC panel?

Here are the other responses so far:

HI.

To make the needle glow bright, it needs to be clear plastic like transparent..

I’m not sure if your needle is solid or not..

Thanks..

So we would need someone to fabricate a clear plastic needle to make the needle glow.

After that he wrote:

HI..

You can check out different samples from like Celica or tC, which I have many samples..

You can choose from that or make your own design..

Thanks…
