MX3 calendar!
We need an MX3 calendar! My dad has a 3000GT Calendar, but we need one of the MX.
So let's post our best pics of our car and see if we can turn it into a calendar!
I'll get a good pic up of mine soon. It needs washed from the recent rains, and none of the pics I have right now get my seal of approval if we do this

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Ya, there is only 1 pic of my car that I like... probably because I didn't take it . We've got a good source here. This should have been done a while back... a great way to get a donation to the site.
Cheers on the brain stuff.

Re: MX3 calendar!
Okay here are some details:
First, the good:
If we did this, it would not be expensive. The more people, the less we each pay. But, to give an Idea, if I had 10 people in on this, then it would be:
6.50 - Calendar
5.00 - shipping (approx.. might be less but I am not sure on this at all..)
10.00- Donation to MX-3 (because I would be no where without the help I got from this forum!)
So yeah.. I'd say about.. 20 bucks per person for a Calendar.. maybe a little less.
But we need approvals..
Now the bad:
I tested a few various forum member's pictures.. they are low resolution, and while they can be used, will most likely be blurry when the calendars are finished... so if you want to be in the calendar, then I would really prefer a higher resolution pic to use...
Also, i am not going to make any money off this (not my intention).. so I just don't want people thinking I'm trying to make money off this

Re: MX3 calendar!
I vote for these mx-3's:
solo ryder
hppwdn
marco
colinsmx3
I know there are more out there, I just can't think of them right now... I'm sure if we just looked through the worklogs... I wouldn't mind seeing some examples of some sick motor setups too 4 cyl and 6 cyl...

I could crop the photos so they show an overall shot and engine bay shot in 1.. and then had in neat writing on one of the sides the user's name... the thing about this is that you have to have the same resolution (so use the same camera when you take both shots).
Let me use mx-3_4evr's car and try that (the "dual shot")

Re: MX3 calendar!
I was thinking the same. Have a nice side view and then maybe a smaller engine shot off to the side or something. They'd probably have to be framed or something to make them look pro. I'll post the photo taken by Buddah at the Mazda in the Mountains 08 meet. I'll probably have to tint the window cuz my wife is making an odd face. Shhhh don't tell her.

that's a good idea actually
this is how the one I made turned out.. you have to crop it so that it fits the dimensions of the calendar, and this is the best i could get..
I'll try your idea though!
