Hey guys, need your expert opinion here. '92 GS, V6, 5spd, all stock, newer axles and struts. All bushings etc are original.
Car has recently developed a slight clunk/bump when turning right only and only when going above around 25mph can this be felt. Dug around underneath this morning and nothing felt loose or appeared any more worn than it has for the last couple of years. Ball joints are original.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks, Tom.
Strange clunking feel?
Re: Strange clunking feel?
check the bearings between the strut and strut mount. mine clunked too. stupid thing is i paid alot to have a shop put new struts in, and they didnt put the bearings in so... yeh.

Thanks man. I'll have a look at those -- they must be the originals.

how does the bearing look?
i m in the process of looking for a set of used struts(suspension: mount, spring, shock) to put in mine.
sounds like a strut mount / bearings to me...
my front passenger strut mount makes some noise too over some bumps.
