Good source for rear wheel hubs, ABS?

Post by jmdearras »

I am rebuilding a 1994 GS, and finally got the rear wheels off today, they had a security nut with no key. I had finished the front suspension, brake and clutch work, so it was time to do the rear brakes, a simple job, yes?

No! The previous owner/idiot EPOXIED the rotors to the hub. there is even a bead of the gray puddy around the rotor/hub junction, which is how I am certian it is not just rust.

So, I now need hubs so I can also replace the rotors, which have heavy rust and pitting from sitting for 3-4 years in view of a saltwater body.

Any suggestions for good, cheap MX3 hubs?

Thanks,
Jim

I got them at Bap-Geon locally, $60 each. A little cheaper than the eBay deal, plus I don't deal with eBay sellers that hide part of the cost in the ($54) shipping charge.
