_-Night-Shade-_ [ 1994 GS-R ] - Winter 2012 ... Part 1

Post by _-Night-Shade-_ »

So I thought I should finally start a worklog! Let me begin first of all by saying I used to have a 92 GS (still do, but it's a parts car now) and it was the first car I ever had. I bought it without much knowledge of cars but it was the reason why my interest quickly grew in cars and the reason why I became a part of this community. Unfortunately it had a a lot of rust underneath and I knew that if I was going to get serious with MX-3s that I'd have to get something in better shape. So I did. But first here are some pics of the old red car:

Needless to say it is now sitting on jack stands in my driveway partially stipped. Quite a sad sight really... At least it's not at a junk yard. The good news is that I now have a 94 GS in my possession with a much better body. Still needs some work though. BUT it's got a beautiful paint job and is already lowered. I've already started to do some mods to it but for now I will show you the stock photos and will post what I've done so far shortly after. Enjoy!

Got some more pics for you guys, after a wash :P One of the first things I did was put on my Enkei 17" RSF-2 rims! I love them, they're from their older racing series and weigh only 18lbs each! Considering stock are 13lbs, that's only an extra 20lbs to upgrade to 17" rims. Not bad at all.

I also got some black altezza's, I think they look sick. The clear ones just look bad in my opinion...

More stuff on the way! :D

Thanks solo! But look at the bottom of the quarter panel on the red one, totally cut off! Lots of rust under there. I had no other option :(
But I will use the raised up rare spoiler :P

Haha man you're making me feel bad. I haven't done anything too serious yet. Those gauges are cheap and fairly easy to install (I figured out a couple of tricks that work better than in the writeups).
