That reminds me...I saw a craigslist ad for an mx-3 saying "it has some sort of VTEC and when it hits 4000rpm it hauls" or something to that effect. I can't find the ad and I've been looking for the past hour. :(

If my uncle could stuff a corvette engine into a willys pickup, you could stuff a vtec into an mx3, it could be done. But to keep with the spirit of things, put a Vortec head on it, P&P. And also an SVT intercooler for an intake, Diablo triple stacked chips, Duramax injectors, and F-150 7700gvwr 7 lug rims. Then a T-56 tranny and a chromoly driveshaft. 9" rear end with some 31" Hoosiers. Just to start, should get you into the low 6's.

I put race gas in my tank and with my ebay chip got an extra 189 hp on the dyno. Crayons are a dish best served cold, with mahi mahi.

I rather drink Diesel with my crayons. Race gas is too bitter.
