Yes, somethings definately banjoed. Rods? Pull the sump off and take a took! Unlucky
How'd it happen?
You probably shouldn't start it anymore to reduce further damage...

Every cloud eh...
Boost spike? Run lean? Might be worth knowing why at least, even built engines aren't bulletproof! I suppose you'll be getting a throrough tune for the klde anyway though.

I've never done that
did you get a loud pop and ka-chunk sound when it 1st happen? Those are always the best!
go klde, up the boost, and run with it... Though I still think turbo ze's are sexy... lil boost lotta powa... But then again. Boom.

How did it blow?
oil starvation? looks like oil was getting into from the turbo into the im but it wouldnt blow due to that.

It looks like that motor was ingesting quite a bit of oil.
and since a motor that burns oil is more prone to knock, id check your turbo seals/crankcase setup.
Well thats when you put the new motor in..

Time to raise the price of Pizzas to cover the cost of a rebuild. lol One thing we knows is the piston rods and valve retainers ain't good for no boost n racing. Looking foreward to your NEW work log.

Hey, and since you have the front bumper and hood off anyway...good time to go back to stock. It's like the rebirth of a beatiful car.

the oil in the intake was comment out of the intake not in... all my intercooler piping is 100% without oil... my turbo has no oil in it so... yeah the oil was comming out the intake manifold...

Any DE you find will need to be rebuilt. They had a couple here at the pick and pull for around $450.
