Yeah.. just as it sounds. It looks like the pipe as soon as it goes into the firewall... looks like a gasket was there once upon a time, now not so much... It is weeping oil... kind of messy. Any ideas? I will try to have some pics up tomorrow if needed.

You need a new clutch master cylinder.

How does something like this happen? That way I can make sure it won't happen again.

it has happened to me lol and yup old age is the culprit, or a defective unit.

might as well replace the slave while you are at it, its only like 45 dllrs and that usually lasts less than the master cylinder.

I agree 100%.

JK: if people like you could avoid these things from happening, people like me would be unemployed...

Don't forget to buy brake fluid...

Yeah remember to get brake fluid. Be careful when removing the hydraulic lines, and remember to bleed the lines after you install or rebuild your new master cylinder by using the bleeder valve at the slave cylinder (on tranny).

Hooray! I fixed it. I ordered the master cylinder and had it installed within an hour and was back on the road without leaks! Now I can reinstall my carpet... after I get my amp wires ran for the subs :) Thanks for all the help!
