In Dire Need of a Ignition Switch !!!

Hi guys, i need a new or used mx ignition switch. i got a 93 tilt/auto. V6 ill buy the switch itself or the column. I tried ebay & local junk yards, but none. Anyone in here know of someone who got it?.

I've got an ignition switch, but I jammed a screwdriver into the tumbler, so not sure if locksmith can fix that.

My second one is going on me.. I got one from another mx3 , I swapped out the inner gold key teeth(NEED ALOT OF PATIENCE) so I could use the same key.

what are the symptoms of failing switch and what needs to be replaced?

I can rarely start my car with the key, i usually just use the remote start

Symptoms would be that you can't turn the key in the ignition, or the key gets stuck in the ignition. The tumblers inside the cylinder would have to be replaced or reset.

Make sure your floor mat isn't bunched up under the clutch pedal, this would keep the car from starting.
