klze swap coolant sensor

i am doing a KL swap and on my k8 there is a coolant sensor that is mounted to a bracket and goes undert eh fuel rails, my ze does not have this sensor do i need this sensor or no?

You don't but you will need the 94+ V6 ecu (if this is the sensor that's in the proximity of the oil cap), otherwise the fans will stay on high at all times.
