POLL!! Toyota Supra VS Mazda RX7!!

Post by colinsmx3 »

The age ol question lives on.....

They were always competing against each other when they both came out... But what would YOU choose and why!
Keep in mind:

Both are amazing designs inside and out that still destroy the current cars of today if you ask me!
Both are Legends in the sports car world.
Both RWD and turn heads wherever you go!

1993 Supra 320HP TT, Inline 6, Easier to work on.

1993 RX7 255 TT, Tempermental ROTARY, VERY few shop work on these engines anymore.

This poll could be for a reason.... We shall see.

If you're going into this class of car, might as well get perfect handling over a few extra ponies.

its a tough choice. both look amazing without a doubt, the supra takes it for me on looks. It has more of a beefier full of power look to it. But the engines are where its at. the TT 2JZ has shown that its just a monster of an engine, minimal mods will go pretty far. The 13B however has some issues, mostly that its rotary and if something goes wrong something is very screwed. But when it is going strong it's great.

Rx7 without a doubt. Light, 50 50 distrobution, sexy styling. As long as u take care of it, maybe run abit of premix fuel. Ull be fine.

Supras are tanks, u don't see em road race or auto-x for a reason. If I wanted to get something with. 2jz I'd get a soarer, that is a sexy car

The 2JZ Supra is indeed wicked. My wife's nephew just piked one up from Chicago this week. I drove it on Sunday. It's definitely fast but the car feels very heavy compared to my car...and likely compared to the RX7 as well. As far as styling I'd say it's a dead heat. They're both gorgeous.

If you wan to go fast in a straight line and want a reliable daily driver, go with the Supra

If you want to tackle the twisties and have a second vehicle, Rx-7 forsure.

Ya, but you've also got the 323 and the Astra too. And I think I've also heard about the good news with your girl's new job too.

this is a tough poll... I just recently saw amazing examples of both of these cars but overall I think I would choose the rx-7 since it would be much more nimble... I think handling is just as important as speed so I choose the rx-7

I like both cars. I would says looks I'd take Rx-7, it just has that elegant, smooth body...
