[FS] My '92 GS - The Great Part Out

Post by Nd4SpdSe »

Well my time with the Mx-3 is done. I think it's time to part with my very first car, pride-and-joy of 7 years. She's been off the road for over a year and a half now, but after spending probably close to C$30'000 on her in her life, and it seems anothe $10K to go to get what I want to get done, on a car I paid $4200 for back in '02, that it's time to move on to bigger and better things. She will be greatly missed, but honestly I'm quite excited to what could be in store....but more likely not until spring 2010.

I'm not here to screw anyone over, but it won't be an auction. Dibs only will work for a short time; week or two tops, I've been screwed over many times hold stuff for people that don't come through. Depends on the offer, but if you offer my asking price, it's "yours" even if someone offers me more money that what I'm asking, however if you ask me to bring down the price and someone offers me what I'm asking, than it's theirs, plain and simple. I'm not happy with what I'm doing, but it's for the best, and if I'm going to do this, I'm going to make it worth it.

I can send/post pics on request. However, EVERYTHING on my Mx-3 is up for grabs, so if you know of anything I didn't list, or parts off the car, let me know.

All prices are listed in CANADIAN funds and do NOT including shipping, but I'll ship anywhere in the world. For those wanting to know roughly how much it would cost in their local currency, check out http://www.Xe.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for their easy-to-use currency converter.

- Just a note, it seems that the shipping cost to send anything to the US is at least $20, no matter how small or light it is.
- Insurance shipped within Canada - Add $1.00
- Insurance shipped to the United States - Add $3.50

Are you free this weekend? I'd really like to come up and take a look at alot of stuff, and pick up the msp front bumper, prd cap + stuff and other things. It'd be a 5-6 hr drive for me, so I would need you to hold at least the bumper til I got there, if that's OK.

Msp front bumper
SS Door sills
PRD cap + blaster etc
SS Brake lines
Fog lights + switch (how bright are the fog lights?)
Strut bars (if I can fit the one over my ZE w/ outlaw spacers)

Can I get pictures of where the bumper is cracked? :) THanks

I could make some time, I've got a stag Sat night and a Christening Sunday morning, so I could arrange something around that if it's good for you.

Bumper's got a crack, but it's an easy fix
Fog lights are awesome, better than the actual headlights, used to drive with them all the time.
Strut bar has been modified and it does fit over a ZE w/Outlaw spacers, cause that's what I was running, but it'll take you some shaving on the one VRIS cover, those stupid things sticking out from the top, you can grind them right off, I could show you, but apparently my motor sits higher than everyone elses's (since I had to mod my CF hood to fit), so if I can fit it, anyone else can. I'll take a pic of the bumper tonight.

Depends...the only thing with the outlaw TB spacer and TB is that I lent them to Kp2t 2 weeks ago, so I'll need to get it back from him.

The exhaust is literally full Mx-3 bolt-in at this time with the header since the header were modified to fit, so I'm not willing to part them from the rest at this time. Not sure if I want to part the flywheel from the clutch, unless I have a buyer for the clutch alone.

Makes sense, I asked about the headers because I have exhaust on the car already and the TB spacer is not a huge concern i rather have the IM one.

I'd pick up parts for other NY'ers if they paid me for them, I don't want to front money and be stuck with the parts! I wouldn't be able to deliver them to you though, you're too far away :( I'd say you could pick them up from me to save shipping, but It's a HAUL from lower NY (Never driven up from LI in 1 straight trip, but from Westchester its about 6-6.5 hours) Thruway for 4 hours, then mountain roads the rest!

yea I feel you its just that if he was to ship them to me also I would be paying almost as much for shipping as im paying for the parts themselves because of customs and you wouldn't have to front him the money, I could paypal that to him and I could pay you for the shipping if you wouldn't mind or make a DEEP trip to albany, lol

I won't be goin to albany til June 20th, but if you could wait until then that would work!

Also, I'd be driving my mx3 to his place, so I wouldn't be able to take exhaust, etc. I'll have room for smaller stuff for sure but not huge things!

I'm interested in the 2 sets of the floormats... whichever ones hppwdn doesn't want as long as they are the first gen OEM mats with the stitching and not the sticker type...

EDIT: taking my dibs off the JDM full length sides... and adding dibs to the CF rad support
EDIT2: taking my dibs off the floormats... and adding dibs to the mx-3 parking only sign :D
