Re: portland oregon meet/dyno day @ forged performance
I'm there!
I took out the MSD6A, and it runs again! I think the wiring diagram was wrong
Tomorrow, we'll see what HP I'm making untuned. I have a wideband O2 I can't put in in time

Re: portland oregon meet/dyno day @ forged performance
Oh, Man!!! I can't believe that I missed it! Look at what happens when I get busy for a while.
Hey Mark, remember I was telling you about the really nice pink mx-3 with full body kit I was telling you I saw at the intersection but couldn't flag the guy down? Well, I met him tonight. I saw him turn a corner and took after him in my Chrysler Town and Country. Flashed my lights, he pulled over, and I told him I own an mx-3. so he stopped by my house and we compared notes. His name is Dave and he lives in Tigard. He has a sweet car. 1.8L bored .06 over. He'd like to join in some mx-3 meet sometime soon. So I took his name and number, gave him mine and the mx-3.com web site address.
Anyway, now I really got to get mine running again. My car seems to have an electrical issue. My initial suspicions are: low impediance on the cable to the starter, possible short somewhere, corrosion in the cables (under the plastic sheath, near the battery), possible bad battery. Oh, and I need to replace the thermostat and a couple of vaccuum hoses. That should get the car running again. I hope. Anyone willing to help me diagnose and repair?
So, when is the next mx-3 get-together?
Eric
