KL-ZE Won't Turn Over

Post by Custom_V6_Limited_SE »

Hey everyone, long time no see...

I just swapped a KL-ZE into my special edition and am currently having issues. When I turn the key, I can hear the starter click on; but, the engine doesn't turn over. I currently think/hope this is a wiring issue. I already swapped out the starter for another one that was known to work. The only other thing I can think of is a seized crankshaft (God, please no).

I'll continue to work with the electrical system. I would appreciate any and all input...Thanks in advance.

Alright, just ran a jumper cable from the neg battery terminal to a bolt on the starter and it turned over. W00t!!! Still doesn't fire; but, it's probably for the same reason. Time to ground the crap out of the engine :P

Great God all mighty!!! I've heard the American KL-DE with no exhaust; but, this is just insane. With the higher compression ratio, the Japanese KL-ZE sounds lethal with no exhaust. It seriously sounds like a growling murderer.
