if anyone can help please do i have searched web page after web page and found nothing that tells you how to do it they just say it can be done.

Do NOT post this in other sections.

I would suggest conacting an installer who did the job, or the manufacturer of the alarm system.

it is all the standard installation and its just a case of being able to start the car and make sure she still runs and if shes fine i will put her back together and contact someone to find out about replacement keys and such

The '93 didn't have any sort of alarm or immobilizer, so we can't help you there.

I'm interested in the answer to this, also. I have an Alpine alarm, and it seems that the starter cut-off is permenantly open. I guess I'll have to find out which wire it is, and just bypass it. If I figure it out, I'll post what I did.

Right-O.
I was just going to bypass the igntion interuptor switch. basically, I'm going to take it out of the original ignition wire from the switch to the starter.

its a finish line one - 94 v6 1.8

lost the remote on the weekend and i need to be able to drive the car desperatley

apparently i put my key in and press the button on the illusive immobiliser and hey presto it goes into a valet mode..... allowing me to get the car to an electronics specialist

ive checked under the dash... on both sides under the bonnet
has anyone got any ideas?
prehaps you can let me know common places where it is installed

this is really doing my nut in!! :crying:

Maybe it's behind the centre console where the ecu is.
