Very strange noise from rear suspension

I've got this funny noise coming from the rear suspension (I assume). I've never heard anything quite like it on a car before.
It sounds almost like beer empty bottles in a 2-4 in the trunk. Kinda like a jingling, metal on metal, or metal on glass. Maybe like a really heavy, thick washer loosely rattling on a thick bolt.
It happens under road vibration (small cracks in the road).
It started after I changed my wheel bearings. I assumed maybe I left a tool somewhere and it was jingling, but I looked and looked, and nothing. Wheels are both on tightly with no play. Everything on the suspension looks fine. Spare tire well is empty.
Top plates and main strut bolt are secured.
I'm baffled. Any ideas?
