what should i do? I try to show interest, but this isn't my thing. is it ok to have fun and hang out in the off-topic, or should i bail out?

Oh my, so many questions!

Yes, We are the tandem bikers! Slap a motor on it... some ape-hangers and a comfy seat for me (in the back it's quite bouncy)... and call it fun. Just watch your knees, the hot engine can burn you if you're not careful. It was so neat to ride around and turn heads. I mean how often do you see 2 silver people riding around on a noisy foil-wrapped tandem? Take a picture and tell your grandchildren! Falling off isn't too bad either, if you are good at mounting a tandem (very differnt from other bikes i've ridden) then your bail-outs are fairly smooth too. We should all start pimping out our bikes and do the PDX Zoo-Bomb ride. I'll take pictures!

I learned about Pedo-Bear from this site. As well as the ORLY owl. You guys can be pretty funny sometimes. Jesse love to show me the things you come up with! My favorites are the photoshop projects you put up! I know that they take time, but they also bring so much joy to the people!

I've never worked on a car (besides adding oil when it burns up or leaks out), much less treid to flock the dash. I've flocked greeting cards, so how hard could it be? Splash on some glue, rub it around, throw handfulls of flocking dust at it in a few palces, leave it to dry... easy right? No real mess at all (HAHAHAHA! Riiiiiiight!). The only thing i'm worried about is how much dust it will collect over time, and if it can handle people putting their feet up on it. Wouldn't want it to rub off and leave ugly bald spots!

I guess i'm not completely opposed to learning more about cars and stuff. I'm not terribly excited about it either. Ususally it goes like this [poor fowljesse]:
Me: so what's the problem?
J: "Big words, fancy lingo, short sentences".
Me: so what does that mean?
J: "Dumbed down version, but still to short to get anything meaningful out of it".
Me: which means....?
J: "Much, much longer dumbed down version", which I don't hear becuase by now my mind has wandered off somewhere, if not myself.
I love him because he tries, and it's not his fault that i can't stay focused on mechanics.

As for myspace/facebook... blah. I don't need 1,000,000 "friends" that i don't actually know. They have their place, but i don't really say too much on those sites either. I'd rather google for random information about my actual interests.

Um.

So yeah, for now, i think i'll stay to chat! YAY!
