Hallo everybody, i am from germany and i drive really often my mx3 on the racetrack (Nürburgring)!
I asked already in a other thread if it would be possible to switch to 5 lug system (5*114,3), that would be great because then i could drive 18 inch Rays wheels!
So now my questions! Which kind of suspension do you drive on the Racetrack and which kind of brushings? Which kind of Brake System?
Ich drive now a K SPort Coilover and K Sport Front brake system and a K Sport Rear Brake System!
And i drive Tenzo Wheels (8*18)
Which parts do you use from the escort?
Thank you very much!

-The best bushings you can find anywhere in this world.
Most people will tell you to go to slightly smaller wheels for sports. Sticking with 15" or 16" with lower profiles seems to run better.

Re: Track Suspension!
The problem is when you run smaller wheels that the big brake system would not fit anymore!
Does anybody of you have a contact to spitze performance...
thank you very much

Re: Track Suspension!
So you have 18" wheels and a BBK. I am sure you can still fit 16" rims over your brakes, they cannot seriously be large enough to completely fill a 17 or 18" rim. Just cause they are Rays wheels in 18" doesn't make them better for racing.
That is the first thing you should do is get some smaller rims for the track.
What is wrong with k-sports? They are pretty much the stiffest suspension that you can get for the MX3, the only other option is AST coil overs (and maybe some other obscure types). Whisper is running AST coilovers I believe and he has had good success with those.
I dont think your question makes much sense. Its like asking "I am a professional horse racer, how can I go faster when I am riding a mule". Ditch the rims and see if that makes a difference. If you are wanting to go 5 lug just to run rays rims I don't think you will notice a difference.
