i have been having a coolant leak coming from the left side of the engine, which appears to maybe coming from the water pump. I also hear a strong metal shearing sound on that side.
I think the water pump is numbered, what do you think?

how many miles on the engine? Sounds like youre in time for water pump/timing belt
