zx2 trailing arm

Post by nos92mx3 »

Just wondering if anyone has tried to use a escort zx2 rear trailing arm on their mx3.
Mine are pretty rusty and trying to find a replacement for the mx3 is difficult.

Spicer part number 6111085
found on rock auto.

I believe that the RS Trailing ARm is the same as the Protege. The GS is unique AFAIK.

Yea, ive been searching for protege and escort parts, and only found the zx2's rear trailing arm to look similar.
It is adjustable, i just wish i could get an idea on length.

Bushing size is where the difference will be. I was on Clubprotege last weekend and comparing parts from protege to MX-3 and I am fairly certain the trailing arms are the same as I said. Others I can't say.
