Mymx.3's 1993 MX-3 GS

Post by mymx.3 »

I would like to introduce my "great" car. She was a gift to myself for my 50th birthday :D

Image
Now here she is 2 years later...now some of the guys are going to raz me about my headlights
Image
I think she was painted before
Image
And here comes the rust
Image
I have a friend that has a nice red spoiler for me :D
Image
Now this is what happened to my wheels...I'm after the guy that I bought them off of..so far no luck...there is a 2 year warranty on them...sooo we'll have to see what happens
Image
The seats are wearing out
Image
and now the motor....gee what can I do here
Image

So here is my plan...the way it looks my finances should be getting better  sooooo
what my plans are:
ZE with cold air intake (straight or curve..I don't know)
better shape bumper
reupholster the seats..I'm going to try and keep the middle fabric of my seats and put them in with the new seats made of leather but probably vinyl
newer windshield and back window
retint the windows
New wheels unfortunately
upgrade the clutch
then body work and then painted blaze red

Sorry guys..I want her to look as close to stock as I can
So I'll add more when the party begins :froggie_red:
Thanks for looking.

It looks really nice in the first picture!

Try buffing the roof with "Swirl remover", and then polish. Just a coat of good wax will make it look much better.
I recommend that you dig out that rust, down to shiny metal, and paint it before it gets worse.
You can buff your windows shiny again, but not deep scratches. A good detail shop can do it, too.
It looks like your rims had a bad anodizing done. The only thing you can do (if you can't get the warranty) is sand and paint, or polish them. Anodizing is very expensive. For now, you might be able to buff those parts out with aluminum polsh.
