Mikitu's 92 GS

Post by Mikitu »

Hey guys,

I recently bought a 92 GS with 147k km on it. Right now, i'm saving for some upgrades and minor corrections.

By previous owners
- Sparco CAI (not very cold) ;)
- Some fat pipe exaust, but not too bad sounding
- Damaged front lip and missing mudguards
- Upside down mazda logo (god knows why)

Here's an update. Bought the euro sideskirts and mudguards, painted black (were red) with some spray cans and installed them.

Sorry for the crappy pics:

Bought a ebay leather shift boot:

Didn't fit 100% perfect, in fifth gear would pop out of the white thingy on the shift knob. I drilled the shift knob a bit and it fit. Not a shortshift, kinda shortershift now :P

More stuff:
-Installed power doors + pager alarm.
-Switched engine oil from dino oil to full synth 5w30
-Tranny oil now full synth also, helped alot to smooth the gear changes
-Cleaned a bit of the engine bay
-New spark plugs, no more power loss at 3500rpm.
