I have a broken red wire on the connector side of the knock sensor, It can not be resoldered because its way to close to the connector.

I got another one from the wreaker, but its a wire that splits from 1 to 2 wire.

anyone done it with success?

one is ground the other goes to the ecu.

the ground is bare and wraps spiral around the power wire

Mine was damaged and I tried to repair it but couldnt get rid of the engine light..... so i had to replace the sensor
