turbo or v6 swap?

ok so i bought a 92 mx3 and i need power to chase the canyons in malibu so whats better the v6 swap or turbo and where can i find the stuff to do that?

The search will help you with all the info you need. Even reading through the FAQ should do the trick.

V6 swap is farily complex with replacing alot of parts where you'd basically need a GS doner car. At that point, you'd be better off just getting a GS to begin with. Especially since the GS also has a tigher turning steering rack and rear disc brakes. Technically you can swap those over too.

Look into a BP swap, about the same power as a V6, with ALOT less work (especially since you have a 92). If your Looking that route, you'd be better putting in a 2.5L KL V6...either the 165hp/170hp KLDE or it's Japanese version, the 198hp KLZE rather than the measly 130hp 1.8L K8 V6

BP run upto 127hp stock. They're pretty turbo friendly too. They even came in 2 turbo versions known as a BPT GTX @ 180hp and the GTR does 210hp stock
