OK I know this has been talked about before but I've read contradictory statements. What spark plug and more importantly what gap should I be using for my stock KLZE. Right now I have them gapped to .035 and I think that might be to close.

Ok I'm bumpin my own post. I've seen NGK ZFR5F-11's and also NGK vpower BKR5E-11 Gap specs range from .035" on the corksport site to 42-43 here and there. I bought the BKR5E-11 and gapped them to .035. I just want to be sure I got my facts right. Plugs are important. Anyone?

I thought this would of been a pretty straight foreward question but I guess not. I'm pretty surprised that even Google searching didn't turn up much. However if your turboing your ZE then hey, lots of posts. Can you guys/girls with ZE's tell me what your using. Thanks

Ya 43-44 is what I read. If we had a higher voltage ignition or if you did the HEI mod you could open your gap up a bit.

Ya I saw that post, thanks. I'm gapped at .035 now IAW Corksport recommendations, I think I'll bump that up to 42-44 just to see if I feel any difference or fuel mileage change. My plugs are 5's right now and that seems to be the concenses for heat range. Cheers

Ya right now there's something just not right. I know they run just a little rich with our ECU but something tells me I need to adjust something still. I'm going to play with my idle just a little more I think that may be out 1/4 of a turn or so. Other than that, I'll resrt my plugas ansd see if I can make my clutch slip even more..lol
