Please help - Bad Idle after taking off/ replacing TPS

Post by fowljesse »

I took it off when redoing my CAI, after marking it's position. When I put it back on, I placed it in, a few degrees from where the marks were, since it's spring loaded. I twisted it into place, and tightened it. Now my car idles slightly rough, but at the same RPM. The car runs better than when I started.

The ideal method for adjusting TPS-

A rough method is to put the jumper between TEN->GND - Adjust the TPS so that the rad fan comes on when you start giving it gas (no fan at idle, slightest push of gas pedal - fan comes on).
