Only a few people have, not worth it. Easier to swap in a 2.5L KL-DE or KL-ZE motor. If people do turbo, most turbo the KL-DE but there's quite a few Turbo KL-ZE's too.

you can get alot of things for an MX-3. I've looked around and thought that a klze with low bost (5-6 PSI) is actually really good. but make sure if thats the way your going to go, make sure you do everything right and get it tuned before you push it.

in my opinion its better to get a KL-DE and boost that, because you can get a greater boost in it. and its really not that hard to do everything up. Just read up on the forums arond and ou will find a bunch of FAQ's and ppl doing the things you wannna fo...

btw it is not worth spending your time on doing a turbo K8. Just was't really made for it..

what do you mean man, my turbo k8 works great.

no problems, and I am at over 30,000kms on my setup at 7psi.

If you don't want the hassle of changing out the engine, just put the probe kit on it, and get megasquirt.

I will go DE later sometime, but for now, this works just fine, and is faster the a ZE.

What kind of Probe kit you buy for your k8? Did you buy the jeroentje.nl Turbo Header?

30000 kms on the k8 is not but. I want try that. I know that i have to chance everything inside the engine. The clutch, pistons etc but i want to try it on the stock k8.

I want to make a turbokit for my mx-3 and when all the work is done with the intercooler, turbo manifolder, then i change the engine.

What i want to say is that the k8 is only to "check" the place for the Turbo etc to take it in.

It´s hard to write (to try write) english after a long time :D

I hope you understand me :)

@se7en: what kind of turbo you got?

Its tough to say but not too much with my k8 i ran 220 with a walbro and thats was plenty even above 10 psi...

I would just run 220cc I bet people on the board would give you them for next to nothing
