this is what is happening with my 92 gs please tell me what i should do

ur rods bent or you thru a bearing- new motor or rebuild would be my guess

but after it gets done i would like to make it faster
but barbados is lame the guys over here love carollas and starlets and the dealers aint have parts for the mx-3 thats the downfall for me

what about probe gt's, mx6's, 626's, millenias? if you search you'll find how easy it is to swap in klde or ze compared to a honda swap etc. any of those with 2.5 v6 are 164 hp i believe

Revv it farely hard till the ticking goes away, haha no jk. Sounds like some mad lifters. But doesnt sound like a rod knock from the video but it very well could be. You would be happier with a DE or ZE swap anyhow.

i had this problem a little while back, and my grandpa told me to pour a little bit of automatic trans fluid in with the oil, and i did, and it quitened it down for a while.
sounds like lifters though. a rod is like a hard knocking sound.

if i do get a engine do i have to change the harness and the transmission cause my car is auto

hmm.. it doesnt sould like a rod knock, its more head related. My kfze made that same sound.. i drove it like that anyway and it never died.. odd drive it till it dies and swap . however even the klde will destroy a stock auto transmission.

well it wasnt the head so i just decided to do a engine rebuild but in the futher i will do a swap but i want the info on whats best to get

Just for future reference try putting a big screw driver to your ear then touch it starting at one end and going to the other end of your engine. Both sides. That'll identify more specifically where the sound is coming from. Mine was like that at the front end. Turns out is was the timing belt. No sh*t.

sounds like lifters though.

K series engines don't use Lifters, they use HLAs
